This book, which collects the correspondence between Aziz Nesin and Ali Nesin in a single volume, covers the period starting from 1965, when Ali Nesin attended the Kadıköy ABC Primary School in Istanbul, through his years at Saint Joseph High School (1967-1981), high school in Switzerland (1973-1977), and university years in Paris (1977-1981), The book consists of father-son correspondence spanning a long period of time, including the period from the time he went to the USA and became a doctor of mathematics until Aziz Nesin's death, and the period during which he was imprisoned until he was acquitted of the case against him when he returned to Turkey for his military service. These letters reveal not only the adventure of their lives but also the bittersweet realities of the times in which they were written. “When I read the letters in the first volume of our correspondence with Ali again and in their entirety before sending them to the publishing house, I was very moved and touched. I read my own letters as if they were written by someone else after many years. I am in emotions I cannot describe.” “I find letters more valuable than memoirs and diaries in terms of understanding people and explaining individual and social events. This is the reason why I published our letters.” From Aziz Nesin's foreword First published in four volumes in 1994-1995, Aziz Nesin - Ali Nesin Correspondence was collected in two volumes in 2002 under the title “Canım Oğlum Canım Babacım” and finally published in one volume with a special edition.
