How many languages are there on earth that have been banned for millennia and yet still survive! How many languages are there on earth that have not been made the state language for a thousand years, that have not been allowed in schools or places of worship, and yet have survived! How many languages are there on earth that even some of their direct speakers try to exclude them and consider them inadequate and poor, and yet they still survive! How many languages in the world are there that are attacked by another language that is considered to be sacred, and yet survive, even though they are severely wounded by this attack! Turkish is such a language. This bitig is dedicated to Turkish. To the Turkish language that resisted, fought, fought, fought for its freedom. To the glorious Turkish language that has emerged victorious from many wars... This bitig was written in order to keep the national memory alive and strong and not to forget the sad memories about the linguistic experiences of Turkishness in the national sense, as well as my personal experiences. May the light of Turkish warm your heart. Let us gather in the light of Turkish against Arabic, English, Russian and Persian. If Turkish disappears, so do we. Turkish lives and fights.
