The CTE Specialized Library, which serves within the Ankara Training Center for the Personnel of Penal Execution Institutions and Detention Houses, has been opened to the use of researchers who want to conduct academic research.
The Specialized Library, established within the Ministry of Justice General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses, consists of books, theses, dissertations, articles, reports, photographs and archive documents on the subjects of execution law, criminal law, criminology, penology, psychology, sociology of crime, history, terrorism, intelligence, security, communication and education, which directly or indirectly examine the penal execution systems.
Academics who wish to conduct research in the Specialized Library, which has 5,524 books (2,827 in Turkish, 2,667 in English and 30 in Ottoman Turkish), 1,035 periodicals and 26,930 digital resources, can make an appointment by contacting the Ankara Training Center for the Personnel of Penal Institutions and Detention Houses.
