Important Announcement | About Obtaining an RCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) Number

Dear Istinye Family,

In the articles of the Council of Higher Education dated 13.05.2020 and 28.03.2023, it is stated that academicians and graduate students should obtain an ORCID number. In the examination carried out by the Council of Higher Education, it has been reported that many lecturers and postgraduate students have not yet obtained an ORCID number.

In this context, our graduate students and instructors who do not have an ORCID number must obtain an ORCID number immediately. In order for the ORCID numbers obtained to be monitored by the Council of Higher Education, it is important for our instructors to register their ORCID numbers to the Higher Education Information System and for our graduate students to register their ORCID numbers to the National Thesis Center immediately. For this reason, it is expected that the ORCID number will be obtained until 20.04.2023. Important announcement to all our graduate students and lecturers.
