Getting Started with BMJ Best Practice
- From the homepage type a condition in the Search box on the right hand side e.g. Diabetes and click the magnifying glass
- Alternatively you can browse conditions on the site by clicking on the arrow next to show conditions and you can either find your condition using the A to Z format on the right hand side or search by area of medicine on the left hand side.
- Best Practice content is split into three monographs: Conditions, Overviews and Assessments.
- Condition monographs will cover specific conditions e.g. Anorexia Nervosa,
- Overview Monographs will give an overview of a group of conditions e.g. Diabetes, where more than one type of a condition exists.
- Assessment Monographs will guide you through the treatment of a particular symptom e.g. a chronic cough.
