Announcement | World Children Rights Day

According to Principle 1 of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, “Every child is entitled to these rights without distinction of any kind, such as race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status of himself or of his family.”
 

Since 1954, every November 20 has been celebrated as International Children's Rights Day. It also marks the anniversary of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959 and the Convention on the Rights of the Child adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1989.
