The İSÜ Library supports the integration of digital transformation and artificial intelligence technologies into education and research processes. In this context, the “Guidelines on the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Workplace,” prepared by the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK), has been made available to all users at our university.
It is of utmost importance to act in accordance with the principles of data minimization, transparency, and accountability, particularly when using generative artificial intelligence systems.
Key Recommendations:
Avoid sharing sensitive personal data when entering “prompts” into AI systems.
Ensure that AI outputs are always reviewed by a human.
Do not upload documents containing institutional confidential information to these systems.
