International Open Access Week has been celebrated around the world since 2007. In our country, workshops and conferences on open access and open science have been held since 2012 within the scope of this week.
International Open Access Week will be celebrated this year between 24-30 October 2022 with the theme of “Openness for Climate Justice”. This year's theme of the week-long events will highlight the importance of promoting connectivity and collaboration between the climate movement and the international open (access) community.
The first week as a ISU Library; Organized every year since 2011 in our country, the "National Open Science Conference", the main theme of the International Open Access Week this year, with the theme of "Openness for Climate Justice" hosted by Istinye University, in cooperation with IYTE, TUBITAK and Hacettepe University, on October 20, 2022. At the conference where we hosted 100 listeners and 14 speakers from 45 different institutions and different cities at ISU Congress Center, we talked about open access from health, law, libraries and education.
On this occasion, as ISU Library, we celebrate the International Open Access Week of the ISU Family.
