Announcement | İstinyeli Okuyor Book Club Held Its October Meeting!

The İstinyeli Okuyor Book Club continued its literary journey with its October meeting.

In the session hosted by ISU Library on October 23, our members engaged in a rich discussion on "Aylak Adam" (The Idler), the timeless work of Yusuf Atılgan—one of the master pens of Turkish literature—which deeply explores an individual's loneliness, quest, and relationship with society.

Members who could not physically attend due to their busy schedules contributed valuable insights by sending their notes and thoughts on the book. We extend our gratitude to all members who enriched the discussion with their ideas, notes, and participation. ☕💛

🔍 November Reading Route: Ahmet Ümit – Patasana

Following the October review, Ahmet Ümit's "Patasana" was unanimously selected as the November book of our club.

We eagerly look forward to reading this gripping crime and historical novel set amidst the ancient ruins of Gaziantep, under the shadow of Hittite tablets, exploring human nature's unchanging passions, mystery, and questioning of conscience through history. 🕵️‍♂️📜
