Announcement | Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Early Diagnosis Saves Lives!

Breast cancer, which is the most common cancer in women in our country and in the world and also the most common cause of death, is caused by the uncontrolled proliferation of cells in the breast tissue. On February 4, 2021, the World Health Organization announced that breast cancer has now risen to the first place as 11.7% of all newly diagnosed cancers.

As a social responsibility, we, as ISU Library, support the event organized by Istinye University Pharmacy Club students within the scope of Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the slogan “be informed, reduce risks” with the resources on “Breast Cancer” in the library.
