International Open Access Week has been celebrated worldwide since 2007. Workshops and conferences on open access and open science have been organised in Turkey since 2012 as part of this week.
This year, International Open Access Week is celebrated between 21-27 October 2024, the current week, with the theme of ‘Community Benefit over Commercialisation’. The celebrations continue with last year's theme ‘Community over Commercialisation’ and encourage a frank discussion on which approaches to open scholarship best prioritise the interests of the public and the academic community and which do not.
On this occasion, ISU Library would like to congratulate the ISU Family on the International Open Access Week.
